DANCE CLASSES
Introductory Classes
EDC Dance Studio offers 1Hr & 2Hr Introductory classes for beginner students who want to experience the art of exotic dance and pole dancing as a first timer. We offer a 2Hr Introductory class which gives you a full combination of exotic dancing, pole dancing, lap dancing, wall dancing, floorwork and striptease. We also offer a 1Hr intro to pole for students who only want to specifically focus on learning the art of pole dancing for fun and fitness. The time is now you choose your first time experience and you satisfy your curiosity.
Exotic Dancing Courses
EDC Dance Studio offers the only dance based exotic dancing program for the general public to learn the art of exotic dancing from a dance prospective. Our studio focuses on teaching the art of exotic dancing, floorwork, lap dancing, chair dancing, striptease, bootywork and much more. Once you complete an introductory class you should sign up to our Art of Exotic Dancing 90Min 4Wk Course and learn a full combination of exotic dance styles. We have a variety of levels from beginner beginner, beginner intermediate to beginner advance for all students to grow. We also offer some standard 1Hr exotic dancing and exotic fitness base class series to help you with dance technique, full body strength conditioning, flexibility and to give you a good cardio workout. These classes are great as an aid to take in addition to The Art of Exotic Dancing 90Min 4Wk Course. We also have private dance instruction for individuals who need more one on one attention. All of our courses and class series are taught by professional dancers who have exotic dance experience and have successfully completed EDC's Exotic Diva's Training Certification Program.
Pole Dancing Classes
EDC Dance Studio offers the only dance based pole dancing program for the general public to learn the art of pole dancing from a dance prospective. Our
studio focuses on teaching the dynamics of pole dancing from walks, transitional moves, pole spins, climbs, inversions, combination, dance moves and floor work plus much more all put together in a full dance routine. We have a variety of levels from beginner beginner, beginner intermediate to beginner advance for all students to grow. We also offer some standard 1Hr pole dancing, pole fitness and pole dancing practice class series to help you with dance technique, full body strength conditioning, flexibility and to give you a good cardio workout. WorkShops
We offer a variety of workshops in the art of exotic dance and pole dancing for tourist who are visiting NYC, students who live further away and have limited time availability to come to the city, or students who may need a way to master our technique in a shorter time frame. Our workshops vary from our specialty workshops, holiday, feature and weekend workshops offered throughout the year. We also have couple workshops and LGBT workshops that we hold throughout the year.
Private Lessons
EDC Dance Studio offers private exotic dance and pole dancing lessons for one-on-one individuals up to 2 students privately. Our private lessons are a great way to get the 1 on 1 attention you need to focus on our dynamic technique. Private lessons are also great for current students to improve their technique and for intensive training. We offer 1Hr. & 2Hr. Lessons, individual and semi private lessons and discounted packages.
Instructor Trainings & Certifications
EDC Dance Studio Inc offers 3 comprehensive instructor training and certification courses. The party mistress training, exotic dancing divas and pole pole pros training. Our training programs are for professional students who have experience in dance and want to broaden their horizons by teaching the art of exotic dancing and pole dancing. Our instructor training courses offers the industries original training in the art of exotic dance and pole dancing taught by the best instructors at NYC's First and leading dance studio, school and company Exotic Dance Central Inc.
